The Sun proclaim, in the form of detection sensors that can scan the crowd. Tools like scanners at airports that are believed to analyze materials, using terahertz waves emitted by different substances.

Researchers from CAST began testing the device last year at the crowd which consisted of 75 people. Every single person in the crowd carrying explosive devices. The tool successfully scan and find the person carrying explosives.

"If this technology had been available years ago, the tragedy of the bombing could have been avoided. Protecting the public is our priority. We were testing new technologies to help deal with terrorist threats," said one researcher.
