Meaning Of Virginity A Girl In the Modern Age

A girl's virginity is something precious has. Throughout history, cultures around the world place a high value on female virginity. But times were changing and many men and women who no longer see sex as something taboo. And many are choosing pre-marital sex as a reality that is happening today.

Even today's couples who are in a relationship does not hesitate to engage intin although there is no guarantee their relationship will lead to the altar. As a result many men are wondering how to know the bride was a virgin.

According to Dr. Mahindra Vatsa, a gynecologist and sex counselors, traditional values are still deeply embedded within us. Men had to be careful when choosing a partner. "One of the most common questions I get is' How do I know if my prospective bride or girlfriend is a virgin?" The only answer I have is that there is no way to know, "said Dr Vatsa.

Vasta explained, the problem virginity back to the man and his family. So does the traditional culture does not prevent the couple engaged premarital sex? "After the couple got engaged, it's like a license to marry. So they feel they can do anything," he explained.

Some patients Vasta generally come with a complaint if she did not bleed during the first night. Though not all women bleed when having sex the first time. "They suspected their partner was not a virgin anymore," he said.

"The truth is that the presence of the hymen is broken (resulting in bleeding) is not a sign of virginity. Some women are born without it, there is a very elastic so it does not break while for some it is so fragile in which the more intense activity may have been broken without they realize, "says sexologist Dr Rajan Bhonsle.

An intact hymen is not a sure sign of virginity. A woman's hymen can be broken by non-sexual activities such as intense exercise, dance, sit astride on two wheels, etc.. In fact, in the statistics, only 42 percent of women who bleed during first intercourse.

With advances in medical technology today, a plastic surgeon can easily reconstruct the layers of tissue resembling the hymen (the procedure is called Hymenoplasty).

For some men, especially those raised in a very orthodox family with family or old-fashioned, family members tend to influence their decisions.

"In many families they do not like such as love or sex before marriage with a brave girl. The reason they refused the girl is that post-marriage, she will also continue with the same behavior."
