Former United States First Lady Betty Ford dies at the age of 93 years

Mrs. Ford, who is also known as a sharp opinion in public issues, establish rehabilitation centers drug and alcohol dependence in 1982.
Ford is one of the most prominent women in U.S. history.
She was married to Gerald Ford for 58 years. Former President Ford died in 2006. Since her husband's death Mrs Ford chose to stay in Kaliformia.

Betty Ford breathed her last, accompanied by his family, according to a statement one of his relatives.
"As first lady, she is a fighter health problems and a staunch women's rights," President Barack Obama said.
He added: "After leaving the White House, Ford helped reduce the social stigma against addiction and inspired thousands of people to get the care needed."
"I am very sorry to hear the news tonight after the death of Betty Ford," said the former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
Mrs. Reagan added that Mrs. Ford is a strength for her husband who are facing difficult times in the history of our country.
Increasing awareness

Mrs. Ford, who managed to 'beat' of breast cancer, trying to raise awareness of drug and alcohol dependence terhadapmasalah.

Mrs. Ford was born with the name Elizabeth Anne Bloomer in Chicago, Illinois in 1918 and spent his childhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with two of his brothers.
After studying dance at Bennington College in Vermont, he moved to the City of New York City at age 21 to work as a dancer and a model for two years.

Mrs. Ford met and married her first husband William Warren, in 1942 and divorced five years later.
Shortly after, he met with Gerald Ford, who was then a naval lieutenant.
Both lived in Washington DC for three decades after Ford became a member of congress, and became president in 1974-1977.
